I.G.K. Victoria has karate clubs in North Balwyn and Hawthorn for everyone regardless of age and fitness levels. We practice traditional Goju karate. Classes are disciplined, yet fun, allowing men, women and children of all ages to learn and develop at their own pace.
The head instructor is John Ross Kyoshi (6th Dan), assisted by Lambros Kallianiotis Renshi (4th dan) and Jim Pantopolis Senpai.
I.G.K. Victoria dojos operate directly under Tino Ceberano Hanshi (10th Dan), known as the father of Australian karate. All instructors have many years of experience.
I.G.K. is taught in a safe and encouraging environment promoting character and physical development. Children start from as young as 5 years of age. As well as learning self-defence, other benefits of Goju training are confidence, discipline, coordination and fitness.
Thank you for taking the time to visit I.G.K. Victoria.
